I’m an Essex Girl transplanted to the Eastside of Lake Washington, near Seattle. I create with Mt Baker, a 10,000ft volcano, in view on a clear day.
I’ve always been a by-the-pattern crafter but now I love to experiment and explore.
I graduated from the Fiber Arts course at the University of Washington in June 2012. I’m continuing to explore altered books, journaling, mixed media collage, and creating one-of-a-kind fabrics. I also enjoying creating figures with layers of meaning and personality.
In Fall 2018 I begun a teaching artist role for Make Your Mark Program for Kirkland Arts Center.Through this program I became connected with International Teaching Artist Collaborative (ITAC).I continue to develop my participatory artist practise.
In June 2019 I celebrated 10 years as a Docent at Bellevue Arts Museum.
I have the priviledge of being a current MA candiate in Humanitarian Action and Peacebuilding OxfordBrookes/UNITAR.
I’m happiest exploring, creating, and enjoying within a mixed media universe.
